Association Successes
All of our successes are born from the dedication of our members! Olathe NEA members step up the plate in big ways: they attend representative assemblies, they run for local and state offices, they lead as building Association Reps, they volunteer to serve as committee members, they attend Olathe Board of Education members, and so much more. If you would like more information on how YOU can contribute to our success, contact the Olathe NEA President today!
Olathe NEA, as a result of the collective efforts of its members, has
- Negotiated the previous state statute for due process in our negotiated agreement
- Supported local teacher, Brett Parker, in campaigning and winning a seat in the state House
- Organized an elementary time and workload committee, resulting in changes to the negotiated agreement
