Thank You Olathe NEA Delegates to the KNEA Representative Assembly!

Olathe NEA members Kathy Meyer, Selena Eckstrom, Calin Kendall, Angie Powers, Misty Lambeth, Amber Boyington, Shelby Lewis, Becky L’Ecuyer, Dana Nelson, Ruth Henderson, Kay Turner-Forsyth, Don Branham, Eileen Sieck, Chris Hipsher, Joe Neneman, Crystal Ward  and Steve Peterik served as delegates to the 2019 KNEA Representative Assembly. Their weekend was packed full with learning, voting–and even a little witnessing of history. On Saturday, the group watched Governor Laura Kelly sign the School Finance bill in her office!

Two members even won awards! Brett Parker was honored with the Wooton Political Action Award, while Angie Powers was one of the recipients of the Jack Williamson Service Award.
